Bellagio Cup VI: Ivey in the final for a second WPT title

A day and a half after its registration in the WPT Bellagio Cup VI, Phil Ivey is ready to score again the history of the World Poker Tour.

After his victory at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles at the WPT LA Poker Classic, Ivey will move tonight in the final of the Bellagio Cup VI, final table for the ninth of his career in a tournament the World Poker Tour.

One more for the record that is considered the best poker player on the planet!

As I was telling you yesterday, a number of well known players have taken advantage of late registration, but none managed to match the success of Phil Ivey. The Tiger Woods of Poker was the equivalent of 20 big blinds when the tournament began, but quickly built a carpet depends on the result of other pros like Chris Ferguson and Daniel Negreanu.

Currently fifth in the rankings, he is still in excellent position to win his second title, virtually tied with his opponents stack.

Opponents in which we find particularly Justin “Boosted J” Smith already a finalist last year and German Moritz Kranich, Norman stage winner on the European Poker Tour in 2009 in Deauville.

Before Phil Ivey to win the chip leader will also face Australia John Caridad whose carpet is more than three times higher than his. But we know nothing is impossible for the No. 1 worldwide!

French side, Patrick Sacrispeyre entered a new line to his record, finishing in 13th position for a gain of $ 33,986.

The televised final table is played that night at the Bellagio, this is the chip count of the six finalists.
